IoT box¶
Pentru a începe să utilizați un IoT box:
Conectați dispozitivele la IoT box.
Conexiune la rețea¶
IoT box poate fi conectat la rețea prin Ethernet sau Wi-Fi.
Notă
It is recommended to connect the IoT box to the same network as the devices connecting to it.
Important
Never make the IoT box accessible from the public Internet. IoT systems are designed to provide your database with access to devices on your local network. Exposing them to the public Internet would create a security risk.
Ethernet¶
Introduceți cablul Ethernet în portul Ethernet al IoT box și într-un port disponibil al routerului, apoi conectați IoT box la o sursă de alimentare.
Wi-Fi¶
Asigurați-vă că nu este conectat niciun cablu Ethernet la IoT box și urmați acești pași:
Conectați IoT box la o sursă de alimentare și așteptați câteva minute pentru a se porni.
Accesați setările Wi-Fi ale computerului și selectați rețeaua IoT box. Numele rețelei este de forma

Notă
Depending on your operating system, the browser might not open and redirect to the IoT box’s homepage. In this case, open your browser manually and navigate to
http://10.11.12.1or any URL starting with http (e.g.,http://odoo.com).Pe pagina principală a IoT box, faceți clic pe Configurează lângă secțiunea Internet Status.
Așteptați câteva minute pentru scanarea rețelelor disponibile, selectați rețeaua, introduceți parola Wi-Fi și faceți clic pe Conectează.
Notă
După conectarea la rețeaua Wi-Fi, IoT box nu mai emite semnal Wi-Fi, iar computerul ar trebui să se reconecteze automat la rețeaua inițială. Dacă nu, reconectați-vă manual.
Sfat
If the IoT box is connected to an external monitor, you can also scan the first QR code displayed on the screen to connect to the network, then scan the second QR code to access the IoT box’s homepage. On the homepage, click Configure in the Internet Status section, select the relevant Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and click Connect.
LED status¶
The IoT box features two LEDs, located to the right of the SD card slot, which show its status and help with troubleshooting when no display is connected. The LEDs can be interpreted as follows:
Red LED lit: The IoT box has no Internet connection. Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected or connect the IoT box via Wi-Fi.
Green LED flashing: The IoT box is awaiting connection to a database.
Green LED constantly lit: The IoT box is connected to a database; no further action is required.
Pagina principală IoT box¶
Pentru a accesa pagina principală a IoT box, deschideți un browser web pe aceeași rețea cu IoT box și navigați la adresa IP a IoT box.
Adresa IP a IoT box poate fi obținută prin:
connecting the IoT box to an external monitor: the IP address is displayed on the screen.
conectarea IoT box la o imprimantă de bonuri sau etichete compatibilă cu un cablu USB: adresa IP este tipărită automat.
accesarea interfeței de administrare a routerului la care este conectat IoT box sau utilizarea unui software terț pentru scanarea rețelei.

If the IoT box is connected to an external monitor or a printer, its homepage can also be accessed by scanning the displayed or printed QR code with a device connected to the same network as the IoT box.
Once the IoT box is connected to the Odoo database, its homepage can be accessed from the IoT app: click the relevant IoT box’s card, then click Homepage.
IoT box restart¶
To manually restart the IoT box, access its homepage, then click the (power off) button in the top-right corner.
Sfat
You can also fully reboot the IoT box by unplugging and plugging it back in.
