Mercado Pago

Mercado Pago is an online payment provider covering several countries, currencies, and payment methods in Latin America.

Configuration on Mercado Pago dashboard

  1. Create a Mercado Pago account if necessary and log into the Mercado Pago dashboard:

  2. In the top-right corner, click Your integrations, then View all.

  3. Select the relevant application or create a new one.

  4. Select Production Credentials in the left menu.

  5. Select the relevant industry, optionally enter the domain, and click Generate production credentials.

Importante

The testing environment is not supported; all transactions are generated in the production environment.

Configuración en Odoo

  1. Navigate to the payment provider Mercado Pago.

  2. In the Credentials tab, select the country of your Mercado Pago account in the Account Country field.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Select the relevant country, then go through the sign-in process on the Mercado Pago portal using your credentials.

  5. At the end of the process, you are redirected to Odoo, the Access token is generated, and the payment provider is Enabled.

  6. Configure the remaining options as needed.

Truco

  • Click Disconnect your Mercado Pago Account to disconnect the current account and connect a different one if needed.

  • Tokenization is supported for credit cards.
