Redsys

Redsys is a Spain-based payment service provider that processes online and in-store payments for businesses across Europe. It allows merchants to accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other local payment methods supported by Spanish banks.

Redsys account configuration

  1. Contact your bank to request activation of an online payment terminal (TPV) with Redsys.

  2. Log into your Redsys account using the credentials provided by your bank.

  3. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Merchant Configuration.

  4. In the Merchant Information section, fill in the Name, Merchant URL, and Merchant Email fields.

  5. Set the fields in the Configuration data section as follows:

    • Online notification: With online notification: HTTP

    • Synchronization: Synchronous

    • Parameters in the URLs: Yes

  6. Copy the merchant code and merchant terminal number displayed in the Merchant management section and save them for later.

  7. Click See key, enter your user identifier and password to display the key, and save it for later.

Configuration in Odoo

  1. Navigate to the payment provider Redsys.

  2. Fill in the Merchant Code, Merchant Terminal, and Secret Key fields with the information saved at the step Redsys account configuration.

  3. Configure the rest of the options to your liking.

  4. Set the State field to Enabled (or Test Mode if you want to test the integration without affecting live transactions).
