However, as Albania transitioned into a democratic society, the Pyramid fell into disrepair, reflecting the broader challenges of reconciling the country’s history with its aspirations for the future.
Recognizing the potential of this iconic structure, AADF envisioned a new purpose for the Pyramid—a place where the youth of Albania could gather, learn, and thrive in the realms of technology and digital media. This vision came to life with the establishment of TUMO Tirana, a state-of-the-art educational centre designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy among young people.
