Tecnolines Italia S.r.l. is an Italian company mainly committed to the construction and maintenance of high-voltage power transmission lines. During the last 10 years, Tecnolines Italia has recorded a constant development and the achievement of remarkable results such as the consolidation of its position within the Italian market and important qualifications with foreign TSOs and Utilities’ Procurement Systems.
Tecnolines Italia is currently qualified as official supplier in several different European and extra-European countries, and its multinational employees hold the necessary skills and professional certifications and expertise to operate within and outside Europe.
Tecnolines Italia legacy dates back to 1928, when its men first entered the high-voltage industry. At the time, in fact, the construction of the first hydroelectric stations located in the Alps made it necessary to realize several HV lines to connect those stations to the city of Venice: our pioneers thus contributed to the construction of some of the first OHTLs in the North-East of Italy.
Between the late 90s and the first years of the new millennium the company went through several restructuring stages and ownership successions, which brought to its current name Tecnolines Italia and to the successful execution of its first major contracts abroad under the ownership of Tecnopali Group S.p.A. from Parma.
With the Indian group EMC Ltd joining the Company’s shareholding in 2012, and following to the acquisition in December 2013 of the high-voltage activity branch of the company Impresa Rodolfo De Franceschi & C. S.a.s. (operative in the OHTL industry for decades), Tecnolines Italia was then able to consolidate its position within the Italian and European market, and to achieve relevant goals with respect to qualifications and certifications like, for instance: Manufacturing / Maintenance
