"Allá por el año 1960 Ramón Sánchez inicia sus labores junto a su padre afilando sierras para aserraderos, en el año 1964 fabrican una máquina afiladora de sierras, destacándose a nivel nacional y compitiendo con primeras marcas internacionales.En el año 1975 ""Metalúrgica Sánchez"" inicia sus primeros pasos en la construcción. El taller, de 800 m2 aprox., domiciliado en calle Perú 341 construía techos metálicos dentro de la localidad de San Rafael como también en otras provincias.
