On odoo 8.0 running with https I get the same error when I install WooCommerce Connector By Tech Receptives. How can I fix this?

You must precise your issue. What version, what is the context of your deployment, wich menu, action, ....
Without those basics elements, nobody could help you

from your local machine or from any vps server?
It might not be a OpenERP server issue at all, but the server where you have OpenERP might loose network or your PC looses connection to the server where you have the OpenERP!
I faced this problem on a new VM running Odoo!!!
