I read that middle 2014 maybe the v8 are released? I try to set up now v7 for my small company, but I can wait if is clever. So, can I later upgrade to v8 OR should I wait?

What about the migration. Is V7->V8 similar to V6.1->V7 ? I've done V6.1 -> V7 allright, just wanting to see if going to V8 will be difficult... Thanks
You'll want to check out the OpenUpgrade Script. It is a community effort to provide open source upgrade paths from one OpenERP/odoo version to another. Check the documentation.

V8 has great improvements like the website builder and e-commerce. I'm using v6.1 and will migrate to v8.
Hi Mario! I setup now a virtual Ubuntu 13.10 for v8 (just testing). Maybe you know a install docu for Ubuntu Server? Or is it the same as for v7? Thanks!
