when trying to add a not ,where you usually type the delete icon is in the place on the screen where you usually type and when you start typing the line disappears,the weird thing is if we replicate this on the laptop it works !!

You have unticked description field from the side menu.
The notes/section is shown in the description field, so you need to tick the description field next to the product.
