Our company had just paid for the SAAS enterprise version with apps and going to put on a raw build VM (On Ubuntu 16.04) on google cloud server. We had download the deb file but yet we are not able to register it as service and run it using gdebi ( no service seems to be registered on port 8069 and missing odoo-bin folder after the unpacking and setting up ) . Any tutorial i can go through for the installation other than downloading the script on yenthevg blog?
Why not use Linux (Ubuntu) though? Way more people use it, plenty of people can help you and everything at Odoo itself runs on Linux too.
We are on the ubuntu 16.04 on the VM instance of the google cloud server, but i just cant start the odoo service after installation of the deb file
