I've created an automated action that creates a contact from an opportunity once that opportunity gets to a certain stage. This works fine, however the opportunity isn't actually linked to the contact i.e the contact name doesn't actually show in the "customer" field of the opportunity. Obviously I don't want to have to manually join them, but I can't work out how to do this as part of the AA. Does someone have an idea how to do this?

If you send screenshot maybe I can help you out. Because usually the contact and opportunity already have a link. Please give more detail on what you are trying to do.

Interestingly it seems to have stopped working altogether..the KYC field is a custom field and it works fine for a different automated action. TIA for any help you can give
