Supposing that you've launched the Pentaho report designer and created a prpt report file, you can follow the following steps to publish a report into OpenERP :

Login with the Administrator

Go to Settings->Actions->Reports

Click 'Create' to start a new report

Enter report name and Service Name,

click on 'Is this a Pentaho report?' and make it checked

select the model the report is based on

select the menu you need the report to appear under it

click the 'select' button and select the prpt report file and upload

click save and you are now ready to run the report

be sure that the Apache server is running
