V11 Enterprise. Ubuntu 16.04LTS

2 databases.  One prints US checks just fine. In the other database, the checks look like the margins and formatting is off. The first db, you can see the boxes around the items on the stub and the 2nd db looks like a run-on of text.

Since they are running the same build, I don't see how the XML layout or qweb report could be the issue.

Also, when I change the output to HTML, it looks perfect on the screen

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
