Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
V11 Enterprise. Ubuntu 16.04LTS
2 databases. One prints US checks just fine. In the other database, the checks look like the margins and formatting is off. The first db, you can see the boxes around the items on the stub and the 2nd db looks like a run-on of text.
Since they are running the same build, I don't see how the XML layout or qweb report could be the issue.
Also, when I change the output to HTML, it looks perfect on the screen
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
In the database in which you face issue, just activate developer mode and navigate to settings - technical - parameters - system parameters and check the record named report.url holds the correct value. It must hold the URL or IP address of the instance.
