How to create private channel

Hi ,,
I'm a new Odoo trainer and I want to create new private channel but , when I write the name of the group in the textfiled only public channel option appear to me (#), also when I try to add some users to direct message I can not

Hello Sara,
You can achieve that by following the steps below:
Activate debug mode Create a new group Go to the channel's settings then select your new group in "Authorized Group"  Enable the new group in users permitted to access this channel

You can private a channel following steps:
1. Goto channel settings

2. Goto tabs 'member', you can add/remove member from here to control permission access to private
