At my company we've started using the Project module in Odoo. I have activated Task Dependencies and are able to set these in the "Blocked by" tab, with no issue.
These dependencies are however, not visible in the Gantt view as shown in Odoo's own video instructions here (at 2:39 for example):

Looking at the details of the task that is supposed to be blocked (let's call this Task 1) by another task (task 2), it doesn't show as a smart button in Task 1 as is also mentioned in the video.
In task 2 however, I can see that it is indeed blocking another task - in this case task 1 - but still nothing visible in the Gantt View.
Anyone has any ideas on what I'm missing here?
In regards to visibility in Gantt view, did you sent a start date and end date on the tasks? Otherwise they wont be visible.
As for the smart button, it seems to me that the tasks are blocked in the incorrect order.
I would first add the SD and ED on the tasks to view in Gantt, and then add the arrows to point tasks in dependent sequence.
