Hello! Does anyone know if V13 has address verification for shipping addresses? Our current software will verify an address before we buy the shipping label from the carrier.
For ecommerce this is very important, as sometimes people type in their address wrong.
By using some of the integrations with Easypost, you will get two things:
- If it's shippable it will display the shipping costs.
- if it's not shippable it will not allow the user to ship the goods.
You can configure Easypost in your Odoo instance Out of the Box by creating a free acount in easypost.com/login and then setting up your Easypost credentials in Inventory > Configuration > Delivery > shipping Methods then select one add the configuration, see screenshot:
