I am trying to upgrade Odoo v15 Enterprise to v16 but need to uninstall all the 3rd party modules/apps before I export the database. Is there a way of identifying which modules/apps are 3rd party?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Kế toán
- Tồn kho
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Hi,
By a standard odoo installation procedure third party apps will be placed separately in a folder in the server. if you have access to backend or those custom addons path, you can see the added third party apps from there.
Also from the user interface, you can go the apps menu and remove the apps filter, and filter the installed apps and see the installed modules.
Thanks

Group by author and select
yes it is possible to recognise external modules. Odoo. You can go to the Apps menu in the Odoo back-end and sort the installed modules by "Author". Modules with "Odoo S.A." as the author are part of the core Odoo system, while other modules are considered third-party. Another way to identify third-party modules is to look at the module's repository on the Odoo Apps Store. If the repository is maintained by an individual or a company other than Odoo S.A., it is considered a third-party module.
