i had create an employee in odoo v17 but not create as a contact so now when i create a new contact for the same employee and i want to link this contact with the existing employee how i can do this ?

In Odoo, when you create a new Employee, the system automatically creates a corresponding Contact record (in the background, it’s stored in the res.partner model). This ensures that every employee always has a linked contact, which Odoo uses for things like communication, user accounts, and HR records.
If you manually created an employee without the corresponding contact, it usually means something went wrong (for example, the contact was deleted, or the process was interrupted). You don’t need to create a new contact separately. Instead, you can:
Open the employee record.
In Employee → Personal Information, check the Work Contact field.
If it’s empty, you can manually link the correct contact there, or Odoo will generate one if you edit/save the employee.
This way, the employee is always tied to a contact record, as per Odoo’s standard design.
