Lead/Opportunity "Source" field

Question

Is there a way to remove the out of the box options and also rearrange them?

(edited my question for clarity)

Hi Anastassia,
You will have to activate developer mode. Go to Settings app and you will find the option to activate it in "Developer Tools" section. (Settings -> General Settings -> 'Activate the developer mode')
Then, You will be able to see 'Link Tracker' app. Inside that app open "Sources" list.
==> Link Tracker -> UTMs-> Sources
Under the Sources menu, will be listed all the sources showing in 'Source' field. You can add, remove or edit any.
But if you want to add filter on "Source" field,

Hi guys, sorry, I mistyped my question here. Is there a way to remove some of the items that appear for the source field? Some of the items are not relevant to our team and I would in general like to understand where I can edit many to one field items.

You cannot remove the source field in Lead/Opportunity from model (DB) without change the source code.
Change the source code is not good choice.
You can create a custom module and create a view to inherit correspond view and do like below to not show source field in view you want to hide it:
