My organization uses Odoov10 Community for some business process and now want to adopt the Inventory module for managing our stores unit.

So the Stores unit deals with keeping items that are all mostly consumed internally in the organization. Anytime a staff needs an item there is a requisition book to request the item from the stores unit.

In trying to transfer this process to the Odoo ERP. We are able to add all products but the challenge is how to handle the requests for products internally. We need to record every product that has been given out and to be able to generate reports.

Please use the inventory internal transfer option then you can easily transfer products from one location to another.

So first you need to a internal transfer location

1. For that you need to enable advance routing option available under configuration -> settings -> Warehouse and location-> routes

enable

2. Configuration-> Locations -> create

Location name you can give for eg : Internal Transfer

Parent Location : WH /Stock

Location Type : Internal Location Then save

3) set operation types and routes

4) try to issue product transfer inventory-> operations -> create

source location : product default location

destination : created new location

Hello Seth Asafo.

For Odoov10 Community, you can use internal transfer from Inventory Module.

It will help you to transfer your products Internally and also you can print the report.

Please find attached a screenshot where you can find how you can create Internal Transfer in odoo inventory Module.
