How to modify data-validation on E-commerce module?

Question

I am using the E-commerce site and interested of giving the option for my customers to order products such as food groceries by entering rational numbers.

For example:
If 1 Kilo of tomatoes costs 12 $
One should be able to submit in the website 0.5 Kilo and pay 6$

is it possible to do? how?

By default, you have this calcul depending on sale order in back order.
Actually, you don't have decimal on quantity in website sale.

i know i dont have decimal on quantity in the website...

my wish is that it will be decimal numbers on quantities... is it possible to od somehow?
