I have configured my mail server in odoo11. The test showed that connection is successful. But when I send any email it doesn't go from the email of the logged in user but goes through the configured email id.

Also I cannot receive any emails as reply to id is not going correct. Do I have to configure separate income mail servers for each user?? I donot have a catchall email id.

Can anyone tell me if there are any other steps that need to be followed ?
