Two part question:
1 - In CRM, activity types can be configured (new activities created, that can trigger each other after n days) - how can I add same ability to PLM app?
2 - In PLM app, how can I cause the existence of a default set of connected activities per ECO stage?
PS - I'm completely new to Odoo, have searched community forum to see if these questions have been asked before. I have the studio app as well so able to do some changes in there if necessary. Thanks in advance!
1. To configure activity types, enable developer mode from Settings > General Settings scroll to the bottom "Activate developer mode"
Navigate from menu - Settings > Technical > Activity Types to create or modify activity types
You will be able to define connected activities by selecting 'trigger next activity'. The activity type can also be specific to a model.
2. if you wish to automate the creation of activity type you would need to install "Automated Action Rules" module from Apps
To create automated action navigate to Settings > Technical > Automated Action
