Hi All,
I had created a subscription order, and after some days, later found that Odoo had changed the start date and end date.
how to stop this?
is there any configuration that I need to do or it needs coding?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Kế toán
- Tồn kho
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Hi,
What you’re seeing is normal: OdooBot updates the dates whenever the subscription is set to auto-renew. It takes the template rules and adjusts the Start and End Date automatically after renewals or invoice runs.
If you want to stop this, you can handle it with configuration, no coding:
- Go into your subscription, click Edit, and untick Auto Renew (or set Renewal to “Do not renew”).
- Manually set your Start Date and End Date, then save.
- Check the Subscription Plan (under Subscriptions → Configuration → Plans) that the order uses. If “Automatic Renewal” is active there, disable it so new contracts won’t get updated by OdooBot.
- If you don’t want any date changes, you can also pause the scheduled actions in Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions → look for “Subscription: Generate Recurring Invoices” and “Subscription: Close Expired Subscriptions.”
That way OdooBot won’t override your dates anymore.
Hope this helps!
