i wanna delete a vehicle on my vehicle's list in fleet management module on Odoo, when i click on delete, an error message shows up, it says that it is impossible to delete.
so it can be deleted, i shoud delete the odometer and costs on that vehicle.
is it possible to delete the vehicle directly?
Actually i have done this, so there is no way to delete it without doing these steps?
No. And this is valid for almost all objects because of the manifold interdependencies and relationships. Recommended way is to inactivate/archive such objects.
Indeed - Archiving is always better than deleting.
Hi,
I think you have to delete its related records such as fuel, service etc. First clicking those smart buttons and delete all the related records which reference this fleet.
So after deleting the related records such as Cost, fuel and Service , delete the fleet.
