We want to use Odoo's default email server as it works smoothly.
But we still want to use our company's alise domain, for instance, to collect tickets I want to use support@mycompany.com instead of support@mycompany.odoo.com.
Is there a way to achive this without turn on the custom email server?
You would just need to set your domain
(in V15) Settings > General settings > Custom email servers
If require to receive new emails sent to support@mycompany.com, you would require to configure only the incoming email server
Setting > custom email servers > Incoming Mail Servers
Is all that is needed, just add @mycompany.com domain name to Alias Domain ? Do I need to configure the SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc. ? (using google workspace). Thanks.

Been stuggling with this same issue. We're on odoo.sh and using office 365 was never able to get it sorted. Did you ever find a solution?
