Recently, I try Lighthouse audits to see improve my implementation of Odoo, since we do use Odoo for e-commerce website. Unfortunately, even Odoo website has bad performance score in these audits (19/100). What can we do to improve this?

1.) Choose your web-server wisely
2.) Compress Data
3.) Keep alive and load balancing in NGINX
4.) Reduce the number of Third Party Plug-Ins
5.) Use Content Delivery Network for High Traffic

There are a bunch of websites with better scores than 19 for performance even out of the box.
We've been working on a list - mainly to highlight our super-optimized sites that run as microservices on top of Odoo, but we've been hunting for the best "stock" Odoo sites as well - elyptol.com was 40+ performance, jasani.ae was 49, auburnsupplygroup.com was 53 when we measured, etc.

What Kanakinfosystems said is pretty much what it is. There is no "quick" solution, just need to optimize.
