If we get a certain number of leads from an event and they fall under the “new” in the CRM, will the allocation of the leads be automatic based on the location of each salesman? Is it possible to automate it or should someone do it manually?

Yes, it is possible to automate the allocation of leads to salesmen based on their location using the Lead Routing feature. Lead Routing is a built-in feature of Odoo CRM that allows you to automate the distribution of leads to sales teams or individual salespersons based on different criteria, including the location of the lead and the salesperson.

To set up Lead Routing in Odoo v16, you need to follow these steps:

Go to the CRM module and select the "Configuration" menu.

Under Configuration, select the "Settings" menu.

Scroll down to the Lead Routing section, and enable the "Automatically Assign New Leads" option.

Choose the criteria you want to use for lead routing. In this case, you would select the "Salesperson Location" option.

Set up the location-based routing rules. For example, you might create a rule that assigns leads from a particular region to a specific salesperson.

Save your changes.

Once you have set up Lead Routing, the allocation of leads from events to salesmen will be automated based on the location of each salesperson. The leads will be automatically assigned to the appropriate salesperson based on the location-based routing rules you have set up.

If you want to make any changes to the lead allocation, you can do it manually by reassigning the lead to a different salesperson.
