Collegare una bilancia¶

Negli stati membri dell’UE, per utilizzare una bilancia come dispositivo integrato è richiesta una certificazione legale.
To connect a scale to the IoT system, use a USB cable. In some cases, you may need a serial-to-USB adapter to complete the connection. If the scale is compatible with an IoT system, no additional setup is required; the scale is automatically detected as soon as it is connected. If the scale is not detected, reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service.
Nota
If the scale still does not function, it might not be compatible with the Odoo IoT system. In such cases, a different scale must be used.
Una volta che la bilancia è collegata al sistema IoT, configurala nelle impostazioni del POS.

Bilance Ariva S¶
Per far si che le bilance della serie Ariva S (prodotte da Mettler-Toledo, LLC.) funzionino con i sistemi IoT, è necessario modificare un’impostazione specifica ed è richiesto un cavo Mettler RJ45 USB-to-proprietary.
Importante
Bisogna utilizzare il cavo Mettler USB-to-RJ45 ufficiale (numerto parte Mettler 72256236). Contatta Mettler o un partner per acquistare un cavo originale. Con questa configurazione, non funzionerà nessun altro cavo.
To configure the Ariva S scale for IoT system recognition, refer to the Mettler’s Setup Guide for Ariva S series scales and follow these steps:
Hold the >T< button until CONF appears.
premi >T< fino alla comparsa di GRP 3 e poi premi >0< per confermare
At step 3.1, make sure the value is set to 1 (USB Virtual COM ports). Press >T< to cycle through the options.
Press >0< until 3.6 and make sure the value is set to 3 (8217 Mettler-Toledo (WO)).
Premi >0< (più volte se necessario) fino all’apparizione di GRP 4.
premi >T< fino alla comparsa di EXIT

Non apportare ulteriori modifiche se non sono necessarie.
