In EU-Mitgliedstaaten ist eine Zertifizierung gesetzlich vorgeschrieben, um eine Waage als integriertes Gerät verwenden zu dürfen.

To connect a scale to the IoT system, use a USB cable. In some cases, you may need a serial-to-USB adapter to complete the connection. If the scale is compatible with an IoT system, no additional setup is required; the scale is automatically detected as soon as it is connected. If the scale is not detected, reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service.

Bemerkung

If the scale still does not function, it might not be compatible with the Odoo IoT system. In such cases, a different scale must be used.

Waagen Ariva S

Damit Waagen der Ariva-S-Serie (hergestellt von Mettler-Toledo, LLC.) mit IoT-Systemen funktionieren, muss eine bestimmte Einstellung geändert werden und ein spezielles USB-zu-RJ45-Kabel von Mettler erforderlich ist.

Wichtig

Es muss das offizielle USB-zu-RJ45-Kabel von Mettler (Mettler-Teilenummer 72256236) verwendet werden. Bitte wenden Sie sich an Mettler oder einen Partner, um das passende Kabel zu erwerben. Für diese Konfiguration ist kein anderes Kabel geeignet.

To configure the Ariva S scale for IoT system recognition, refer to the Mettler’s Setup Guide for Ariva S series scales and follow these steps:

  1. Hold the >T< button until CONF appears.

  2. Drücken Sie >T<, bis GRP 3 angezeigt wird, und drücken Sie dann >0<, um zu bestätigen.

  3. At step 3.1, make sure the value is set to 1 (USB Virtual COM ports). Press >T< to cycle through the options.

  4. Press >0< until 3.6 and make sure the value is set to 3 (8217 Mettler-Toledo (WO)).

  5. Drücken Sie >0< (ggf. mehrmals), bis GRP 4 angezeigt wird.

  6. Drücken Sie >T<, bis EXIT (Verlassen) erscheint.

    Wichtig

    Nehmen Sie keine weiteren Änderungen vor, es sei denn, dies ist erforderlich.

  7. Drücken Sie >0<.

  8. Drücken Sie erneut auf >0<, um zu SAVE (speichern). Die Waage wird neu gestartet.

  9. Reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service. The scale should then appear as Toledo 8217.
