To connect a scale to the IoT system, use a USB cable. In some cases, you may need a serial-to-USB adapter to complete the connection. If the scale is compatible with an IoT system, no additional setup is required; the scale is automatically detected as soon as it is connected. If the scale is not detected, reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service.

If the scale still does not function, it might not be compatible with the Odoo IoT system. In such cases, a different scale must be used.

موازين Ariva S

لكي تعمل موازين سلسلة Ariva S (التي تصنعها شركة Mettler-Toledo, LLC.) مع أنظمة إنترنت الأشياء، يجب تعديل إعداد معين، ويلزم كابل USB-to-RJ45 مخصص من Mettler.

يجب استخدام كابل Mettler USB-to-RJ45 الرسمي (رقم قطعة Mettler 72256236). اتصل بـ Mettler أو أحد الشركاء لشراء كابل أصلي. لا يعمل أي كابل آخر لهذا التكوين.

To configure the Ariva S scale for IoT system recognition, refer to the Mettler's Setup Guide for Ariva S series scales and follow these steps:

  1. Hold the >T< button until CONF appears.

  2. اضغط على >T< حتى يظهر GRP 3، ثم اضغط على >0< للتأكيد.

  3. At step 3.1, make sure the value is set to 1 (USB Virtual COM ports). Press >T< to cycle through the options.

  4. Press >0< until 3.6 and make sure the value is set to 3 (8217 Mettler-Toledo (WO)).

  5. اضغط على >0< (عدة مرات إذا لزم الأمر) حتى يظهر GRP 4.

  6. اضغط على >T< حتى يظهر EXIT.

    لا تقم بإجراء أي تغييرات أخرى ما لم يكن ذلك ضروريًا.

  7. اضغط على >0<.

  8. اضغط على >0< مرة أخرى إلى SAVE؛ يعاد تشغيل الميزان.

  9. Reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service. The scale should then appear as Toledo 8217.
