In EU-lidstaten is certificering wettelijk vereist om een weegschaal als geïntegreerd apparaat te gebruiken.

To connect a scale to the IoT system, use a USB cable. In some cases, you may need a serial-to-USB adapter to complete the connection. If the scale is compatible with an IoT system, no additional setup is required; the scale is automatically detected as soon as it is connected. If the scale is not detected, reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service.

Notitie

If the scale still does not function, it might not be compatible with the Odoo IoT system. In such cases, a different scale must be used.

Ariva S-weegschalen

Om Ariva S-serie weegschalen (geproduceerd door Mettler-Toledo, LLC.) te laten functioneren met IoT-systemen, moet een specifieke instelling worden gewijzigd en is een speciale Mettler USB-to-proprietary RJ45-kabel vereist.

Belangrijk

De officiële Mettler USB-to-RJ45-kabel (Mettler onderdeelnummer 72256236) is vereist. Neem contact op met Mettler of een partner om een authentieke kabel aan te schaffen. Geen enkele andere kabel werkt voor deze configuratie.

To configure the Ariva S scale for IoT system recognition, refer to the Mettler’s Setup Guide for Ariva S series scales and follow these steps:

  1. Hold the >T< button until CONF appears.

  2. Druk op >T< totdat GRP 3 verschijnt en druk vervolgens op >0< om te bevestigen.

  3. At step 3.1, make sure the value is set to 1 (USB Virtual COM ports). Press >T< to cycle through the options.

  4. Press >0< until 3.6 and make sure the value is set to 3 (8217 Mettler-Toledo (WO)).

  5. Druk op >0< (meerdere keren indien nodig) totdat GRP 4 verschijnt.

  6. Druk op >T< totdat EXIT verschijnt.

    Belangrijk

    Breng geen andere wijzigingen aan, tenzij dit echt nodig is.

  7. Druk op >0<.

  8. Druk nogmaals op >0< voor SAVE (opslaan). De weegschaal wordt opnieuw opgestart.

  9. Reboot the IoT box or restart the Windows virtual IoT service. The scale should then appear as Toledo 8217.
