i am new to this odoo community ,python and xml .i need you best comments where to start .i am intrested in developing too .so please leave a comment .this is my first question on this community .

Thank you so much .this link is very indormative .i followed and learned to create a new module but when  i tried to install that module i got an error "ImportError: cannot import name controllers
" which in log it says that its from my__initi__.py .my karma is not enough to post this as a comment .please help me to find a solution

Thank You So much I resolved the error and successfully installed my first "openacadamy " demo module. thank you.

Hi Mubaris,

The best start is by taking the official tutorial from Odoo on how to create modules. Have a look at https://www.odoo.com/documentation/11.0/howtos/backend.html it should give you the basic insights into Odoo. From there on the best way to learn is to code. Find examples in the official code, look how it works and try to make it on your own.
