I am using Odoo 18 Enterprise SaaS, but I am unable to view the on-hand quantity and other product information directly within the Point of Sale (POS).

In my local Odoo 18 Enterprise installation, this information appears by default on the product cards. However, in the SaaS version, I have to click on the product in the order line to open a separate 'Product Information' pop-up.

I have already verified my POS and Inventory configurations, and all settings seem correct. Is there a specific setting, a module to install, or a known difference between Odoo local and SaaS that could be causing this issue? How can I make the on-hand quantity visible on the main POS screen in the SaaS version?

Hi,

In your case, the reason you see on-hand quantities directly on the POS product cards in your local Odoo 18 but not in the SaaS version is due to a customization in your local environment—this feature is not part of the standard SaaS POS interface. In the SaaS version, Odoo shows product stock details only in the “Product Information” pop-up for performance and UI consistency. To have it on the main POS screen in SaaS, you would need a custom module or an approved Odoo App Store extension that modifies the POS UI to fetch and display stock quantities in real time, as SaaS does not include your local customization by default.

Finally, I found the solution — in the Odoo SaaS version, the on-hand quantity is visible in POS under Action → Info.
