Hi

I'm trying to install Odoo Enterprise but so far not much success. Documentation on Odoo website is quite light and missing lot of steps :(

I finally found some scripts that gave me the whole procedure to follow for Odoo Enterprise 18 on Debian 12.

I thought it was good but when I start the service it tells me that in the odoo log file:

I have double-checked the addons paths and they are all good and valid and owned by same owner odoo as the odoo program.

Here is the odoo-server.conf file:

Thanks @Ray for your answer.

  1. Folder exists and rights are good, folder has been created during the process of git clone the official github repo for odoo so I guess it's complete. Although when I check list of folders in it, there is none named base but I have base_address_extended, base_automation, base_geolocalize, base_iban, base_import, base_import_modules, base_install_request, base_setup, base_sparse_field, base_vat, l10n_latam_base that contains the "base" word. Is it normal ?
  2. For requirements it's supposed to be good as it was part of my installation process using the requirements.txt file but after checking your link it looks like I was quite missing few ones. I added them but unhappy still exact same result :( 

For documentation, thanks for suggestion of edition and I'll do once I have a whole process that works good ;)

I would start over using our documentation - you say you found some scripts but they didn't install all the requirements so maybe other things are missing - the base module should be in /opt/odoo/odoo-server/odoo/addons.

Either 

1. Odoo cannot find the base module in /opt/odoo/odoo-server/addons 

Check the base folder exists and that the user running the service has permissions to the folder

Or

2. A python package is missing - check the requirements are installed properly.

Did you install via a packaged installer or via source install?  

I'd be curious to learn more about where you think we are "missing a lot of steps" - which steps are missing?

Oups sorry I thought the big Answer button at botton was to answer on thread :D

I confirm the base folder exists in directory you indicated !

I'll try again later today or tomorrow and let you know how it goes ;)

Ouhou all good now, working fine :) Only extra thing I had to do not listed in doc was to install the python3-phonenumbers package (it should be in the dependencies of the odoo deb package ;)
I'm going to take care now to setup proxy and harden installation, and install a proper backup system.
I'm just surprised it doesn't ask the licence or it waits few dayr before expiration of the 30 days offered by default on new installation on premise to ask for the licence ?
