Hi,

I am evaluating the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) for a project, and I cannot find in the documentation any mention of recording and storing phone calls. Is this possible via any configuration or module?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can use a provider called Axivox in Odoo for VoIP services. By using this, we can record audio by picking up and speaking. Also, we can record music.

Hope it helps

Thanks for your answer! I see that it is possible to record audio messages and music for the waiting period. But I mean to record the full phone call with the customer (after notifying him/her that the call will be recorded). Is this configurable directly in Axivox?

I know it's possible using 3rd party solution (integrations) like NUACOM. You can even have a pre-defined, automated message informing your clients that calls may be recorded. The call recordings are available on Odoo and you can restrict who has access to them.

In addition to that, you can also use AI to generate Call Summary, Topics, Action Items, Emotion, Transcription etc. I'll leave the link below for more information:

Hi!
You can use Oduist Connect (Twilio based) or Oduist PBX (Asterisk based) apps.

Both do call recording (with AI call transcript and summary).

Both Connect & PBX come in CE & EE versions.

You can download and try them for free from https://oduist.com
