We would like to receive emails and SMS text into our local Odoo on our local host.  I set up the incoming email server definitions pointing to our external web page (which is NOT linked to our local Odoo).  On the "Discuss" tab there is an "inbox", but is is always empty.  How do we get ODOO to communicate with our external email account and download the emails into our local Odoo?

Also, we would like to be able to send text messages via our phones to our local Odoo on our local host, but we can't find any app that does this.  We're out on the road, we get a call from a customer or vendor that necessitates a change to an order or a purchase.  Although we are able to remotely access our local Odoo (we use NGINX proxy for HTTPS access), we usually don't have time to try to find an internet access point (or a hot spot).  We'd just like to either send an email to our business email account, or send a text directly to our local Odoo to remind us of what actions to take once we ARE able to access our local Odoo, whether remotely or on premise.

Anyone know how to do all of this?
