Hi

We are trialing oodo (self installed), i need to know:

- How do i create my own invoice template, all paperwork must match the existing formats we have, cant seem to find how, i assume it will be via an add on?

- How do we change the invoice number format from INV/YEAR/NUMBER to a format we already have, again it has to follow past formats we use

- How do we add fields to each invoice line that do not print? we need a Manufacture Part number and Supplier reference fields for every line created on the invoice, these fields are not printed on the resulting invoice the client gets.

All of the above QuickBooks Pro Desktop does (which is what oodo is replacing) so i assume this will be real easy to do, just cant find how to do it.

Many Thanks

Ashley

 - So how do i trial this as it sounds like i need Studio to test the system.

Please advise

If you have Enterprise, you can install Studio from the Apps menu. It's not available in Community.

Hi

Gathered that, how do i get a trial of enterpise?

Best Answer

It is possible to customize the invoice format using Odoo Studio (in Enterprise version) or by doing development.

Invoice Numbering is quite flexible: Document Numbering

You can add fields through Odoo Studio (in Enterprise), directly through the user interface (in Developer Mode), or by doing development.
