I would like to be able to analytically capture the cost of materials used to make a product for a specific Sales Order.

For a sale, say 'SO001': I create an analytic account called 'SO001' to this I log the sale price and the time sheets associated with it. It is here i would also like to be able to add the cost of the items used in the manufacture (i.e. bought items, the lowest BoM level), such that it is possible to get an overview of the actual total cost for this specific instance.

For example,

Analytic Account SO001:

Sale price +

Time sheet lines -

Material costs -

Is there any way of doing this or am I looking at a custom module?

Referring to the answer here: https://accounts.openerp.com/forum/Help-1/question/3352 It seems that it is impossible to log stock moves analytically, but I will keep this question open in case someone comes up with a solution.

(Using: OE 7, Ubuntu 12.04)

Are you working Anglo Saxon? Could not you just add an analytic account to the cost of goods sold account?

Just made a specification to provide the feature:
