Hello, I am in need of some assistance.
I have several reports designed and running on the jasper_reports module. Recently I saw the need to integrate with a mail management module, so we picked smtpclient
The problem is that we need to send some reports by email to our customers
According to smtpclient module there's a possibility to give a parameter which is a list of tuples containing the name and a list of ids to generate and attach reports, yet that is not working. Any Ideas?
If you use OpenERP standard send mail system, you can define a report to send as attachment in a mail.
Go to template menu
define your one and so you can create a button...
...to send mail directly by openerp form (or tree) interface.

Thanks for your answer Francesco, yet that's not what I really want; Well, let's see I need when changing the state of a "document", the system automatically generates a jasper report and saving it to a let's say "temp" folder.
