I am trying to edit my sales order confirmation emails to use the Customer Reference field, as it should by default because customers kind of need to know what order youre talking about and giving them your own reference number means nothing to them, but sure. I have tried editing and sending every single email template that applies to the Sales Order model. I have completely deleted every bit of text from the templates, saved, went to a sales order and hit send email, went through all the templates in the dropdown, and it still show the full original template rather than my blanks, this is after trying to just add the Cus ref field in different ways (Qweb, html, dynamic field)


I am using Odoo 18 SaaS with Studio

Add your Customer PO# to the Source Document field and you will then get an email that shows both your number for the order and theirs.
