Hello everyone,

We are using Odoo 17 and have an issue with affiliate links, link tracker on our online shop. When a customer enters the shop through an affiliate link and makes a purchase, the campaign is correctly tracked in 2 out of 3 cases.

1. Case 1: The customer is not logged in and enters their contact information at checkout. -> Campaign is tracked correctly.
2. Case 2: The customer is already logged in, enters through the affiliate link, and makes a purchase. -> Campaign is tracked correctly.
3. Case 3: The customer enters the shop through the link, is not logged in, starts the purchase, and then decides to log in (since they already have an account). -> No campaign is tracked.

Our assumption is that the affiliate link information is lost during the login process.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue and managed to solve it? Or does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
