Is it possible to integrate a maintenance module with stock modules or parts movement via studio in version 18. If yes how do i go about it?

Updates - 

  1. Create a new field on the stock line. While on a delivery order enable studio (tool icon top left of screen). Edit the list view


2. Create new many2one field with relation to maintenance equipment model. Rename the field name


3. Create button on equipment - Navigate to an equipment and enable studio. Create a new button relation field stock move.


4. Create a pivot view - Click on the newly create button and enable studio. Add a new pivot view,  Set the default measures and groupings


With this an equipment can now be selected for each product line on the inventory operation and reported on from the equipment.

This might actually be of help to me, but how do you establish equipment as a contact so as to assign parts consumed.

Also could you guide me on how to add the parts used smart button on the maintenance module

There were multiple options in the referred post. One of them is to create a contact, so delivered products can be filtered by specific contact from inventory reports.

2nd is to create a many to one field on the stock move line to associate the product move to an equipment in maintenance app. Have updated the answers with specific steps to achieve this.

3rd is to create an analytic account and an associated project in order to track costs related to an equipment.

As mentioned earlier, it is difficult to suggest or recommend any approach without specifics on what is the expectation from the integration?
