I wonder if we can set ODOO 10 to send an email to Manager when a purchase order is in the state:  for approval by manager.

The manager should be notified immediately whenever there is an approval pending, and when released, the employee should also be notified by email that P.order has been approved.

Any suggestion or help, how to do it, will be greatly appreciated.

I did create a Server action, but for any reason, it doesn't send the email.

1. You can Add Server Action, which will send mail as soon as PO state reaches to Approval..

2. You can create your customer code

Upon the click of the approval-button, call the relevant email-template, which will send the mail to the concerned person.
