Hi 

How to setup an email notification to requestor when his/her request has been Approved.

I have tried Automated action (setting > technical > automated action) but not sure how to setup the email recipient for the request.


Is there another way to do it?

Hi, 

You can set the flow in the following fashion.


        the automated action will get triggered when the approval request goes from submitted to the approved stage. 

    2.    Second created an Email template and  in the to part you can use jinja2 to extract the created by field of the approval request. The following snippet will give you an idea about what I am saying.

    


If followed the above two parts correctly, you'd be able to get the functionality you want. If not then please comment.

The e-mail takes time to be sent.

You can get the email recipient as below:

${object.request_owner_id.email}

Thanks Coetex works as per your instructions

Does this work on V16? I can't get ${object.request_owner_id.email} to work when in the To line
