Hi,

In Employee app, in HR parameters tab, I am not able to change the first contract date (which is wrong for one of our employees). I have tried to change the security on the field but unable remove read only security.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you for your answer Ray.

Unfortunately, my issue is in the employee information tab where the field date_hired cannot be changed. It is read-only.

The First Contract Date on the Employee is actually the date from their related Contract.

Click the Contracts smart button at the top to modify the date on the Contract:


The date of the FIRST contract is the date you want to modify, so open the first contract in the list and edit there:


Note: you have to be a member of "Contracts / Administrator" to access the Contracts smart button.

It is scheduled to be run daily only once, so I was trying to figure out why Odoo didn't pick the earliest date of 2 contract start dates... "HR Contract: update state" is the action to look for.
