Hello all, I've just started using odoo, so sorry if my question sound basic.

My products have all a unique serial number, and I'm fine entering each serial number one by one by hand as in general I move little quantities of each.

But from time to time I have large quantites , (in this case 30 of each product).

I have managed to create a Excel file to import the with one click all the  products.

All seems fine:

I can locate each serial number performing a search under Master Data/Lot-Serial number, and appears correctly linked to the product.

If I create a delivery order, I can see and choose any of the serial numbers imported.

But here is my problem, if I perform a product search , the product DO NOT appear on hand. So is like they are not in the stock.

If I manually go into the On Hand tab and create the stock, again I can assing the serial number (as they appear in the Lot/Serial Number list, and once this is done, all is fine. the correct number of units appear, but then I have to do this manually like almost a hundred times!

It seems like the products are  in the system with their very own serial number each but not assigned to any location. I tried to do a fake transfer, and it works, but again I have to manually create a new line for each product and assign the serial number from the long list.

There is any way to do this automatically?

So I can make visible in stock all the products with their serials, not having to do it one by one manually?

Note, when I created the Excel to import the serial numbers, I already tried to assing the products to the correspondent location, but the Import module of the Lot/SerialNumber does not has this value on their list.

Thanks a lot in advacne!
