When stage is ‘Folded In Kanban view’ the contained tasks are not counted in the whole number project tasks

[Odoo v8.0] While checking the Project Management module I found that when stage is ‘Folded In Kanban view’ the contained tasks are not counted in the whole number project tasks, i.e., when there are 4 tasks and one of them is in a stage that marked as 'Folded in kanban view', then in the button showing task number it shows '3' instead '4' which is correct.
Is this correct? if so, what is the meaning behind this behavior?

This is correct, the folded stages refer to inactive tasks, so there is no use of counting them among the project tasks. An example of this the Done or Cancelled tasks. The counted tasks are only the ones still need work in some way or another.
