Do the budgetary positions has to be associated with only "expense" type accounts or it could be associated with "cost of revenue" type accounts as well?

POs and invoices are being reflected properly in profitability section of budgets, but no impact on budgets (Actual amount). why is this so?

i have one budgetary position as revenue but have multiple for mapping the cost as per product categories.

HI Sachin, i have income and expense account configured for the products purchased and sold. is there any other setup needed?
The journal entries posted seems fine as well. I believe the transactions reflect on budgetary positions based on these accounts mentioned. right?

Yes, right.

Hi Nikita,

Yes, the budgetary position accounts can be associated with both expense and cost of revenue type accounts.

Regarding the 2nd question, it can be because the transactions are not posted with the correct budgetary position. pls, check that the budgetary position is correctly assigned to the transactions.

having multiple budgetary positions is fine, This allows for more accurate tracking of expenses and revenue, which can help you with budget planning and analysis.

Thanks
